1. Accounts and eligibility
Keep your sign-in details private and provide accurate account information. Only join workspaces you are authorized to access. Minors may participate only where the study permits it and the required assent and guardian safeguards are satisfied.
2. Voluntary research participation
Read the study's consent information before joining. Participation is voluntary. You may stop, withdraw, or skip where the study allows. Profile matching and profile enrichment are separate choices, not a requirement to accept every invitation. No employment, payment, or other benefit is guaranteed.
3. Researcher responsibilities
Researchers are responsible for lawful study design, appropriate ethics approval, consent, age eligibility, participant communications, retention, and secure handling of exported data. Obtain all required rights to uploaded surveys and content. Do not use Murmur for covert profiling, discriminatory targeting, or unlawful collection of sensitive information.
4. Acceptable use
Do not impersonate others, access data without permission, share private session or invitation links publicly, upload unlawful or abusive material, or disrupt the service. Report misuse or unauthorized access to maosherji@gmail.com without sending other participants' private data.
5. AI limitations
AI speech, transcripts, mappings, and summaries can contain errors. Researchers must review results and distinguish original text from corrections. Murmur is not medical, legal, or psychological advice, and is not an emergency service.
6. Content and permitted processing
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You permit the processing needed to provide the service and the study activities you consent to. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content or authorize its sale. Do not upload content you lack permission to use.
7. Trophies, access, and availability
Current surveys are free. Milestones and trophies are nonmonetary and are not redeemable for cash. Any future paid service would require separate pricing and terms before activation.
The service may be interrupted or changed. Access may be restricted for misuse or security reasons. Ending access does not remove applicable privacy rights. No uninterrupted service or particular research outcome is guaranteed; nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
